Many children are returning to school. For some children in East Gippsland their summer holidays weren’t the break that they were expecting. The federal and State Governments have committed to providing counselling and other well-being services for students affected by the recent bushfires. These programs aim to help aid your children with the back to school transition.

The Australian Government has also announced a $400 payment for children affected by the bushfires. You will automatically receive this payment is you are the principle carer of a child affected by the bushfires, and if you are already eligible for the Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment AGDRA.
